Leviticus 26:40-41

40“But if athey confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers in their treachery that they bcommitted against me, and also in walking contrary to me, 41so that I walked contrary to them and brought them into the land of their enemiesif then their cuncircumcised heart is dhumbled and they make amends for their iniquity,

Psalms 32:5

5 I eacknowledged my sin to you,
and I did not cover my iniquity;
I said, “I fwill confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
and you forgave the iniquity of my sin.  Selah

Hosea 14:2

2Take with you words
and return to the Lord;
say to him,
Take away all iniquity;

and we will pay with bulls

1 John 1:8-10

8 jIf we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and kthe truth is not in us. 9 lIf we confess our sins, he is mfaithful and just to forgive us our sins and nto cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10If we say we have not sinned, owe make him a liar, and phis word is not in us.
